A total of 72 managers from approximately 25 Media Houses from all over Vietnam were involved in a three year program of management training run by SR MDO from 2010 until 2013.
The participating organisations included some of the largest, most successful and expansive media corporations in the country. But also struggling on-line publications, smaller print enterprises and radio and television stations on both regional and national levels.
Each team worked with a Project of Change endorsed by the top management at their respective Media House. This was to be the central, recurring theme for each team during the entire training programme and the goal was to create and implement their project in real life.
Examples among the projects were the creation of web platforms or new untried programme formats. The results included some impressive and successful changes in a number of the organisations that took part.
