In support of radio colleagues and organisations in other parts of the world, Swedish Radio established the Media Development Office, SR MDO, in 1996 to work with international collaborative projects in developing countries.

Currently we are working in Vietnam, Namibia and Zimbabwe with different types of organisations, from large national media corporations and training institutions to community radio in the field.

We offer a broad spectrum of training, from management and organisation, journalistic theory and practice, editorial policy matters, HR issues to hands-on editorial and technical experience under practical conditions.
